Ironwood Farm is located in the rolling hills of Central Florida's Marion County, the "Horse Capital Of The World." The rich grazing land and year around excellent pastures have contributed to making Marion County one of the top four horse breeding centers in the world with over one thousand farms and breeding facilities catering to more than fifty different breeds. Ironwood Farm occupies 120 acres located near the small town of Reddick twenty miles northwest of Ocala.

With our modern facilities and expert staff we are also the best choice for boarding and training your Fox Trotter in Central Florida. Ross Harper, Horse Manager and Head Trainer, has more than twenty years experience training and showing Fox Trotters. We offer numerous large pastures and paddocks, miles of riding trails, well ventilated stalls in two modern barns, a lighted 50 foot round pen and a lighted 105 by 190 foot riding arena. We also have onsite farrier services and the attention of the renowned Equine Medical Center of Ocala, located only five miles from our farm, for all veterinary needs.

Ironwood Farm is dedicated to producing each year a limited number of the very finest Missouri Fox Trotter show and trail horses through a program of highly selective breeding and careful handling of newborns and young horses. This is followed-up with training by some of the very best in the business. We breed specifically for disposition as well as conformation and performance.

In the horse world, the Missouri Fox Trotter is considered to be the perfect gentleman. Loved for its great disposition, easy comfortable gait and surefootedness, it is also prized for its strength, flexibility and endurance.
